If you know what Approximation Theory is then probably you know the raison d'être for our journal "Advances in Approximation Theory" and you are also familiar with most members of our Editorial Board. Therefore, you only need to know one thing that could help you to decide whether or not to consider our journal for your papers. Namely, "Advances in Approximation Theory" aspires to become a well respected journal by the mathematics community. The journal's most valuable commodity is her reputation and we not only want to be highly regarded but we also want it to be well-deserved.
If you are unfamiliar with Approximation Theory (AT) but somehow you still ended up visiting this journal's website, then we tell you that AT is a wide ranging mathematical subject deeply intertwined with many fields of pure and applied mathematics. "Advances in Approximation Theory" (AAT) covers all areas of classical and modern approximation theory, including computational aspects, with deep and far-reaching results and algorithms. Its mission is to combine theoretical and applied mathematics in order to find efficient, stable, and accurate means of approximation grounded in rigorous analysis. AAT publishes peer reviewed articles that address these goals both in theory and implementations.
